We Throw AWESOME Birthday Parties!
Kids Build birthday parties are a truly unique way to celebrate your kiddos big day. Having fun and being creative are front and center in this roughly 2+ hour build. We safely learn how to use real hand tools and learn new skills while building with our closest friends on a project of your choice. The best part… everyone goes home with a hand-built treasure and it's minimal work on your end!
Age + Themes: We work with kiddos between 4–13 years old. Choose from a wide variety of themes - check out our IG and FB pages for inspiration. We’re always up for new ideas as well!
Location / Cost: Host a workshop at your place OR celebrate the big day at our Frogtown location. Cost varies depending on location. We need enough space to accommodate our roughly 4’ ft x 6’ ft work tables (number of tables depends on party size), running water, a bathroom, and electricity. All project materials and supplies included.

Host
Jen Winston grew up with DIY parents who enjoyed reimagining + renovating their home. Adventure, taking measured risks, and using hand tools were key elements to her childhood. She is a former LA Family School, Los Feliz Charter School for the Arts, Eagle Rock Elementary School, and Washington Charter School parent.

Your safety and your child's safety is your own responsibility, including the proper use of equipment and safety gear, and determining whether your child has adequate skill and experience to participate in Kids Build activities. Power tools, electricity, and other resources used for our projects are dangerous, unless used properly and with adequate supervision and precautions, including the proper use of safety gear. All children should be supervised by a parent, teacher or licensed professional.
